This tillandsia is a cluster of Ionantha Peach. Ionantha peach has unique lime green leaves that are very thick for ionanthas, making them more resistant to breaking. This is very nice since you can raise these ionanthas and have them grow into large clusters with all of the leaves in perfect shape. When blooming (usually in winter) Ionantha peach will turn a blush of orange and have purple flowers. Each clump will come with 3-6 plants inside the cluster. Tillandsia Schusteri is a tall air plant endemic to Mexico. It has fountain-shaped silver foliage which are covered with a layer of trichomes. Very hardy and easy to raise. Some plants will come with multiple pups near the base.

Tillandsia Secunda is the biggest air plant specie we have at our greenhouse! Spanning 2-3 feet and weigh a few pounds, this HUGE tillandsia makes a great landscaping plant for warm and humid climates or dramatic indoor plant.

This plant pups along the spike when it flowers. And the plant will be shipped bare-root. You can grow it without soil or pot it in a well-drained bromeliad mix for faster growth. It is okay to keep water cupped in the center of the plant for a while before changing out the water. Secunda loves water!
