+ Water +
Tillandsia Secunda needs to be watered 2-3 times a week. Tillandsias Secunda absorbs water through leaves as well as through the roots. It is okay to keep water cupped inside the air plant as long as it is in an outdoor environment with plenty of air circulation.
+ Light +
Secunda does well indoors but likes bright, indirect light. Keep this plant away from direct sunlight as this will cause the plant to develop burn marks.
+ Air +
Secunda air plant does best in warm humid environments between 50 – 80 F. It needs good air circulation and some humidity as well.
+ Soil +
While you can grow this Secunda air plant without any soil like most other air plants, this plant can also be potted in a bromeliad mix and grown outdoors in the shade. A soil mix with really good drainage can help this Secunda plant grow faster and healthier!
